The Salli Twin is the model which introduced Salli's patented split saddle seat design. This seat is designed to correctly position the user in such a way that their back is moved into an optimum upright posture. Weight is transferred onto the sitting bones and off of soft tissue, reducing uncomfortable pressure points. The elevated seating position of the Salli Saddle naturally tilts the pelvis forward, moving the back into a corrected upright posture.

The Salli Twin's design encourages an upright stance and open core which facilitates upper-body movement and can provide many of the benefits currently being attributed to Standing Workstations without the necessity of being on one's feet throughout the day.

For cost-conscious users a more economical version of the Twin is now available. The Chin differs from the Twin only in that it has a lighter seat frame, standard (as compared to premium) components, a more limited warranty and fewer accessory and color options.

Note: If the split saddle concept appeals but you are looking for a more active sitting experience the Salli Sway, Swing and SwingFit models may be of interest as each of these offer an 'active' tilt and free-moving seat design.

Height adjustment of the gas spring lift is accomplished through a standard hand-controlled height adjustment lever. Available lift sizes and the corresponding heights they accommodate are as follows: Short (4'0" to 5'2"), Mid (5'1" to 6'1") and Tall (5'8" to 6'5"). The 5-point star base and lift are in an attractive chrome finish.The Salli Twin is only available by Special Order and can be purchased upholstered in either genuine leather or polyurethane faux leather, each available in a range of colours.

The EQUESTRY Saddle Seat from ErgoVerse positions the body in an upright stance that is known to encourage upper body movement and deeper breathing. Together these have the potential to improve overall circulation and increase mental alertness. The upright stance also naturally realigns the spine and reduces the potential for lower back pain which is often associated with extended sitting. In addition it offers a significantly extended reach or "Comfort Zone" which reduces the risk of over-reaching.

The EQUESTRY Saddle Seat comes equipped with casters which lock when weight is lowered onto them, meaning that the chair does not move once one is seated. This makes this an ideal chair for those performing tasks which require fine control but also a full range of movement. The full 360° of free rotation lets workers easily align to equipment or reach other work areas as needed.

The gas lift provides a seat height anywhere between 22" to 27.6" and the seat also has the option of forward tilt up to 15°. This tilted seat position rotates the pelvis further forward, encouraging a more natural alignment of the back. Some may also find this additional tilt more comfortable. Since the casters lock when weight is put on the chair, shorter individuals may be able to employ the tilting option in order to use this stool as type of leaning solution when they need to move between locations and don't want to go into a fully seated stance.

The 360° Arm Accessory from Kanewell can rotate to any position around the seat, enabling it to be used as an armrest for either the left or right arm, as a forward leaning or elbow support, or as a stretcher bar for the back. It can easily be locked into position when stability is required. The height of the 360° Arm Support is also adjustable so users are able to move it to the elevation that offers them the most suitable support. The 360° Arm Support can be used by anyone who may need to stabilize themselves while leaning. Dentists and Dental Assistants who are often leaning in or forward are able to let the Arm Support bear their weight, reducing strain and muscle fatigue in the lower back. Leaning against a stable fixed support also ensures a greater degree of control, making this accessory a valid consideration for anyone required to stretch outside of their immediate comfort zone while completing tasks requiring fine control or dexterity.

The 360° Arm Accessory features a thick layer of polyurethane foam which creates a supportive but cushioned resting surface. The high quality vinyl upholstery is resistant to a wide range of common cleaning solution making it suitable for applications were regular cleaning is required.Note: It is generally recommended that any cleaner be carefully tested in an inconspicuous location prior to full application. Sample testing swatches are available in advance upon request if there is concern regarding a particular cleaning agent.

The 360° Arm Accessory comes as a kit which includes both the 360° Arm Support Accessory as well as a replacement pneumatic spring. Installation on a new Kanewell Twin Adjustable Saddle Stool is done with ease, as part of the stool assembly. Retrofitting a fully assembled Stool requires removal and replacement of the existing gas lift cylinder with the unit included in the kit, thereby ensuring that the Stool retains is original range of height adjustment.

The HNDSFREE Sit-Stand Stool from Mey Chair Systems is ideal for use in sterile environments, especially those in which safety and security are important. The Foot Release Plate enables quick, easy, hands-free adjustment of the seat height from any point around the chair.

In addition, the straddle position ensures that the feet are well-planted for exceptional stability and upper body control, providing users with superior upper torso mobility and range of motion. The full 360° of free rotation enables users to easily align to patients and equipment or to reach other work areas as needed. The seat can be tilted forward up to 15°, and the gas lift cylinder allows the height of the seat to be adjusted from 24.8" to 30.3".

Note: Sitting on a Saddle Stool elevates a user higher than a standard seat. Saddle stools are therefore not generally recommended for use at a standard office desk. Equipped with special braking castors, the HNDSFREE Sit-Stand Stool rolls freely when the user is seated but stops moving as soon as the user stands up. This innovative feature enhances the overall safety of the work environment, and helps all present maintain their focus on the task at hand.

Both models of the HNDSFREE Sit-Stand Stool feature easily cleaned Black Imitation Leather upholstery and a chromium-plated steel base for durability.

Model 11209 offers all of the above features, with the addition of a firm, height and angle adjustable back support. (Note: The back on the 11209 has a 2.5" deep curvature in the middle, is 14" wide, and has firm edges. Some users with broader frames may find the back on this model too narrow and deep for a comfortable fit.)

The STEYBIL Sit-Stand Stool from Mey Chair Systems permits users to sit or lean while working, thereby reducing the weight load on the joints of both legs and feet. This upright position also makes it easy to return to a fully standing position with minimal effort. The seat offers an infinitely adjustable height range from 24" to 34", tilts forward from 5° to 20° and provides a full 70° of swivel range with an automatic return to centre.

The STEYBIL is now available with several seat options. Model 11147 features a formed polyurethane seat which provides a firm yet cushioned seating surface with cooling airflow channels. This model is well-suited to environments where rough use may be encountered as the seat is resistant to cuts or punctures and can also be easily cleaned. Three other models (11144,11145,11149) all feature a softer polyurethane foam base covered with easily cleanable leatherette. Model 11148 offers the same softer seat but with a breathable woven fabric cover for greater seating comfort.

Equally suitable for office or industrial settings, the textured black tubular steel base provides strength and stability in a small footprint that does not present a tripping hazard. Strong nylon glides engage the floor to ensure firm positioning of the seat, and the incorporated rollers permit the stool to be easily moved between workstations.

The EQUSIT Sit-Stand Saddle Seat from Mey Chair Systems features a heavily padded, tilting, bicycle style seat mounted to an elevated heavy duty steel frame. A gas spring provides a cushioned seat range from 27.75" to 36.6", sufficient to provide suitable seating heights for the majority of users. The wide back features 2" thick cushioning and has independent height and angle adjustments.

Two footrest options are available. Model 83015 features a large 22.8" diameter heavy steel footring that provides a convenient 360° fixed footrest a minimum of 9" above the floor. Model 83016 features a folding 120° footrest with angle adjustment. For safety, the steel footplate has an aggressively treaded surface. Both footrests can be secured at greater heights if necessary.

Both models have oversized 27" diameter Chromed Steel bases equipped with glides. The large base and glides ensure stability when mounting and dismounting from the saddle. If desired, the base on Model 83016 can be folded flat for storage.

The STEPL Chair from Mey Chair Systems provides a comfortable seat for those working at fixed elevated workstations. A cushioning, gas spring lift provides a seat height range from 23.2" to 33.1", sufficient for most elevated worksurfaces. The STEPL has a wide seat and back, both with 2" padding for comfort. The angles of the seat and back are independently adjustable and the seat back is height adjustable, features that enable individual users to position support where it is most beneficial.

Two footrest options are available. Model 07030 features a 120° steel footrest with an aggressively treaded surface for safety. Model 07033 is equipped with a large 22.8" diameter heavy steel footring that provides a convenient 360° of fixed support for the feet a minimum of 7.5" above the floor. Both footrests can be secured at greater heights if necessary.

Both models have oversized 27" diameter Brushed Aluminum bases for stability. Safety glides ensure safety when mounting and dismounting from the chair.

STEPL chairs are upholstered with supple imitation leather. Model 07030 is available in Black with red accent stitching. Model 07033 is available in Anthracite Grey, with red accent stitching.

This sit-stand chair offers 10" of continuous height adjustment through the patent-pending Lyon Gravity Lock System, featuring postive locking at the set height. An innovative base allows the chair to be positioned wherever you need it. The chair is extremely stable with four strong nylon anti-slip glides which provide stability on most flooring. The ergonomically formed padded polyurethane seat tilts forward up to 20° and swivels 16° in either direction and automatically returns to the center when released. The matte black tubular steel base is durable and looks professional in industrial and office settings.

The Pivot Seat from Focal Upright Furniture builds on the proven designs of the Mobis and Mogo seats by incorporating features from both of these models.The rounded pivot base ensures that the user is actively engaged with the Pivot throughout the day. The Pivot Seat offers a much greater degree of movement than the Mobis as users can also freely rotate up to 360º, leaning or pivoting as desired. As with the Mogo there is no fixed base to force the user to remain facing a specific direction - rotating or pivoting to another direction can be done at will. The rubber "Octogrip Overmold" on the base ensures that a user is secure in whatever posture they adopt. However, unlike the Mogo which cannot stand on its own, the Pivot Seat features a weighted base which automatically returns the seat to an upright position - ready for the next use.

The bowl-shaped weighted base of the Pivot Seat also exerts a subtle force, encouraging a user to maintain a degree of active tension in the core muscles to maintain the desired optimum position. This also means that users who wish to be active while sitting can easily employ the range of movement the Pivot offers to achieve this goal. The wide range of height adjustment and the ability to angle the seat by tilting forward enables the user to easily choose between active sitting and leaning (or any posture between).

The thick EVA Foam cushion on the Pivot Seat features built-in sitz bone contours for support and a waterfall edge to reduce pressure on the upper legs and promote healthy circulation.

NOTE: ErgoCanada does not recommend the Pivot Seat for use on hardsurface floors such as hardwood, linoleum or tile. Users may find that the base "walks" away from them as they lean and move. It does not have any issues on any type of carpeted floor or mat.
