The Kensington Pro Fit Ergo KB675 EQ TKL Rechargeable Keyboard is a tenkeyless layout that features the same winglike design as the full-size Pro Fit models. The alphanumeric keys are oriented at approximately 11° with the navigation and arrow keys being at 0°. This sloping of the keys reduces pronation of the hands and forearm while typing. The left and right key groups are also splayed outwards at 33° to encourage a more neutral alignment and reduce ulnar deviation at the wrists. The integrated palm support on the Pro Fit Ergo KB675 is just over 3" in depth at the middle, and offers cushioning for the palms. It is covered in a leatherette material that is easily cleaned.
The angle and height of the Pro Fit Ergo KB675 tenkeyless keyboard is such that the wrists are supported in a fairly neutral alignment when the elbows are about 1" below the desk surface. For those who would rather sit at a more ergonomic height (i.e. elbows at or just above desk height) and benefit from a slight improvement in wrist alignment there are legs built into the underside of the palm support. When deployed these legs elevate the front to create a nominal 4° negative slope. When the keyboard is flat the highest point on the keys is 1.4" and with the negative elevation legs deployed the highest point is 1.9".
Note: While this keyboard does bear great similarity in appearance to the Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop Keyboard from Microsoft it should be noted that the concave layout of the Microsoft keyboard positioned the hands at a lower point than does the Ergo KB675 which has a convex curve to the key layout. As well, the addition of video conferencing keys at the top moves the hand about 0.75" lower on the keyboard which may cause the right hand to want to slip down and off the palm support.
The island-style keys are topped with flat keycaps that have very distinct edges. The key action is fairly quiet but it should be noted that they have a moderately high peak operation force of 55 grams, which over time can cause fatigue and strain on the fingers. As well, the inner columns of keys are wider to create a more appealing look but this can lead to inadvertently striking the keys off-centre. When struck to the edge there is a tendency for these keys to partially bind, thus requiring more force to complete the key activation. This could lead to dropped keystrokes and an overcompensation response of exerting a higher degree of force to ensure activation. With a limited travel distance of just 2.5 mm this will likely lead to the fingers impacting at the end of each keystroke.
This keyboard includes a bank of 4 dedicated video conferencing keys (End Call, Camera On/Off, Share/Stop Sharing, and Mute On/Off). There are also dedicated keys for Calculator, Search, Show Desktop, and Screen Shot, while the F Keys support Media Control alternate functions. In the middle of the keyboard are RGB Battery Status, Caps Lock, and BT Connection LED indicators. There are 20 programmable keys that can be accessed using the Kensington Konnect software - (PC and Mac options available) - that facilitates Key Mapping, Macro Programming, etc.
The Pro Fit Ergo KB675 EQ TKL Rechargeable Keyboard is Windows and Mac compatible and is able to connect via either Bluetooth 4.0LE or the included 2.4GHz wireless receiver (replaceable if lost) which employs 128-bit AES government-grade encryption for security. The connection is switchable via the dedicated "Connection" key.

The Wireless Ergonomic Trackball Keyboard from Adesso features a fixed split design with integrated cursor control and clicking. It employs moderate resistance tactile membrane keyswitches to provide feedback while typing with the centrally-positioned 0.875" diameter trackball offering smooth and accurate cursor control while eliminating the need for extended reach to the mouse on the right or left. All of the alpha-numeric keys are standard size, unlike many similar keyboards that have wider keys to create a more symmetrical appearance. This means that a consistent target is present for the fingers on all keys. The Function row of keys are half-height, to help reduce the depth of the keyboard footprint and across the top of the keyboard are 20 hot-key buttons providing one-touch access to Internet Browser and Media Controls, Sleep/Wake/Power, and Calculator/My Computer/Media Player/Email. The keycap legends are twice the size of standard legending, making this suitable where higher visibility is required.
While the keyboard does offer a split layout, the separation in the middle is quite limited when compared to other split keyboards, even earlier models from Adesso. The minimal separation limits the benefit that the split could otherwise provide. The splay is also less than most other fixed-splay keyboards, only around 24°. The minimal separation and the reduced splay will result in some degree of wrist deviation for all except those of very slender build. The Navigation Keys, and especially the Numeric Keypad are angled the opposite of the Alpha/Numeric Keys, with the result being that orienting the hand to these, especially the numeric keypad, will require either a noticeable degree of outward rotation of the shoulder, abduction at the elbow, or ulnar deviation at the wrist.
The Wireless Ergonomic Trackball Keyboard includes an integrated sloping palm support. However these are solely composed of hard plastic that is fairly slippery, causing the heels of the hands to slip back off the keyboard - those with longer hands will find this more noticeable. As well, the depth of the supports is noticeably shallower than earlier Adesso designs, especially for the right hand, further increasing the potential of slippage occurring.
Both left and right Space Bar keys lack stabilization which leads to a variance in activation feel over the width of the spacebar. In addition, the Caps Lock, Shift, Enter and both Space Bar keys are recessed slightly lower than the other keys, permitting less travel. As a result all of these bottom-out earlier than the other keys, which can be disconcerting and break typing rhythm.
The left and right alpha-numeric key groupings also feature slightly differing angles and keycap elevation. The left has both a slightly steeper angle and greater keycap elevation from row to row than the right key group. While the variance is not pronounced there may be those who find it significant enough to affect their positional proprioception.

The Ergo K860 Keyboard from Logitech features a flowing design that orients keys at varying angles across the keyboard. The K860 alpha/numeric keys transition through a concave arc from almost level at the centre to about 5° at the right and left edges. The navigation cluster on the right then completes the transition to a fully flat numeric keypad. The left and right key groups are also angled or "splayed" outward to encourage adoption of a more neutral alignment of the wrists. The Ergo K860 also has an attached 3.5" deep cushioned palm support which rises up to match the keyboard elevation. This needs to be taken into consideration when deploying the K860 into a workstation.
While the K860 has a slender low profile the angled design results in the middle keys being elevated to 1.5". This elevation may require individuals to either raise their seats to accommodate the height of the keyboard or to use a keyboard tray to lower the keyboard into their lap. The keyboard is also equipped with front legs that can be used to raise the front to create either 4° or 7° negative slope intended to encourage better wrist alignment. Use of these legs may require further adjustments of seat or keyboard tray height because it adds another inch of elevation to the middle of the palm support and increases the risk of pressure points being created on the underside of the wrists.
The K860 features low-travel scissor switches with chiclet-style keycaps. Key activation is crisp and comparatively high force compared to other scissor switch devices and does require a significant degree of activation force. The low profile keycaps have a satin texture with a slight concave surface to aid in finger positioning.

The Clevy SimplyWorks Wireless Keyboard from Pretorian combines the superior quality and durability of the Clevy Keyboard with the innovative SimplyWorks Wireless Interface from Pretorian. This keyboard features large 0.75" keycaps (30% larger than standard) with large bold white legends for ease of identification. The brightly coloured keycaps are colour-coded for easy identification of vowels, consonants, numbers, punctuation, and control keys making this keyboard ideal for the learning environment. Keys are arranged in an orthogonal grid which makes it easier for users to find and reach the keys. A switch on the underside can be employed to turn off Key Repeat for users who may rest their hands and fingers on the keys. This switch also offers access to the "Function Key" feature should that be required. A rigid keyboard overlay accessory is available to provide assistance for users with temporary or permanent motor skills difficulty.
To ensure the durability of the Clevy Keyboard it is built with an internal steel frame and is equipped with high-quality mechanical keyswitches rated for 50 million activations. In order to address the potential for spilled fluids the housing is also designed to guide the fluid straight through the keyboard, protecting the internal electronics.
The SimplyWorks Wireless functionality means that this keyboard can be combined with any combination of up to 5 other SimplyWorks equipped devices (Keyboards, Trackballs, Joysticks) to communicate with a single computer through a SimplyWorks Wireless RECEIVE. This capability and the 10 metre transmission range makes it an ideal solution for cooperative learning and interactive multi-user activities.

The Wave Keys Keyboard from Logitech features a wave-style layout that inclines slightly upward at the middle. The keys also sweep upward to the left and right to encourage a very limited reduction in ulnar deviation at the wrists. Unlike other keyboards of this style which offer a distinct separation of the keys along the center of the keyboard, there is no separation, which requires that the hands be brought to a central position that will require lateral deviation for most typists. As well, unlike other wave-style keyboards that fan the keys in a downward curve that mirrors the descending lengths of the ring and pinkie fingers, the Wave Keys sweep upwards across the entire alpha/numeric keys. This can lead to awkward stretching or repositioning of the entire hand for the ring and pinkie fingers to access the outer keys. Those with smaller hands will most likely find this reach even more significant. The rather rapid transition from the upward sweep of the alpha numeric keys to the level keys of the numeric keypad may also lead to regular ulnar deviation when transitioning back and forth from home row position to the numeric keypad or mouse.
The Wave Keys Keyboard features low-travel membrane switches which require a significant degree of force for activation. The keycaps are crowned and concave to assist in targeting but have a reduced horizontal and vertical pitch of 18.5mm (19.0mm is standard) which may leave some, especially those with larger hands and fingers, feeling crowded, especially with the upward sweep curving the keys inward towards each other. Included is an integrated 3.25" deep cushioned palm support with an cleanable surface. The righthand numeric keypad and repositioned navigation keys classify this keyboard as a compact financial keyboard despite a fairly significant 8.4" reach from home row to the right edge of the keyboard, something that should be taken into consideration when determining suitability.
The Wave Keys Keyboard is powered by two AAA batteries and is able to connect via either the included Wireless Logi Bolt receiver or via bluetooth.

The connection is switchable via a switch on the underside that also serves as a power switch.

The Cleankeys CK3-15 Wireless Keyboard from Cleankeys Inc. is a wipable, waterproof cordless keyboard designed for environments in which hygienic conditions are a necessity, such as medical and dental operatories. The tap-sensitive keyboard is available with a Gorilla Glass (completely flat surface) top surface that is easily cleaned using hospital-grade disinfectants. Key strokes are activated by tapping the marked zones on the top surface (key-tapping has adjustable sensitivity), as there are no moving mechanical parts in the keyboard. An innovative dual-use numeric keypad (10-key) doubles as a large oversized touchpad, which allows the device to act as a complete mousing solution without increasing the required footprint.
The ISO compliant standard 101 key layout makes it easier to transition to a different keying action. Included with this keyboard at no extra charge is the Cleankeys Monitoring Software which monitors several aspects of keyboard use, an alert when the keyboard needs to be cleaned, detecting the thoroughness of keyboard cleaning, providing a 'clean gauge' as it monitors the cleaning process, and alerting when the cleaning is complete. The policies associated with these alerts can be customized in the software by the hospital (i.e. touch counts, and idle periods). Now organizations can be assured that the hygienic requirements for keyboards are being met, and staff are provided clear alerts by the devices as to when and for how long they need to be cleaned to meet facility standards.

The Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop from Microsoft combines the wireless Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard with a low profile numeric keypad and the Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse, all connecting through a single wireless 2.4 GHz mini receiver. The wireless keyboard features Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) technology, designed to help protect information by encrypting keystrokes. Each keyboard set is permanently paired with its receiver at the factory. Note: This means that if the receiver is lost or damaged, there is no way to replace it - the keyboard, mouse and numeric keypad will no longer function.
The Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard is equipped with low-travel scissor switches that have a higher "return to neutral" or "bounce-back" rate than most laptop style keyboards, providing clear tactile feedback. The response is evenly consistent across all keys with the exception of the F-Key "button keys" (see below). The keycaps feature a slightly concave surface to aid in finger positioning as well as a subtle crowning that provides more distinction between keys than many current scissor switch keyboards. However, the varying size of the keys, a feature which serves no ergonomic purpose, may prove frustrating to those accustomed to a standard layout. In addition, the F-Key "buttons" have a lower profile, are only about 40% the height of a standard keycap, and use a high-force membrane switch. Although these keys do support secondary functions such as multimedia, the secondary functions can only be accessed by switching between Standard mode and Alternate function mode. This is accomplished by a slide switch in the upper right corner of the keyboard. The absence of a FN key means that the quick access to secondary functions that is available on most keyboards is not an option.
The Sculpt Ergonomic keyboard ships with an optional magnetically-attached riser that can be used to elevate the front of the keyboard to create an ergonomic negative slope that can aid in reducing wrist extension. However, because this elevates the keyboard typists need to ensure that they are able to adjust the keyboard position to an appropriate height or they may actually be moving to a "less" ergonomic position when attaching the riser.
The included Sculpt Mouse, for right-handed use only, includes a Windows button for quick access to the Start Screen, and its four-way scroll wheel allows for easy navigating up, down, left, or right. The rounded design angles the hand outward to reduce pronation of the forearm with the body of the mouse serving as a support for the fingers to naturally curl over. The BlueTrack sensor technology works on virtually any surface, making it the ideal device for traveling. A slot in the underside of the mouse provides storage for the mini receiver that provides the wireless connection for all three devices.
This package also includes a convenient low profile numeric keypad, under 0.5" in height, and that can be positioned anywhere as desired. The convenient "calculator" button facilitates quick switching between data entry and the onscreen Windows calculator.
Note: Those who find glare and reflection less than desirable or who do not like fingerprints may not appreciate the housings, all of which have a high gloss or sheen.
