The Taskmate Go from HealthPostures can retrofit any standard desk to become a sit-stand workstation. The unit uses a robust, well-designed clamping mechanism that can accommodate desks up to 2.0" thick. A single release lever unlocks the counterbalanced spring-assisted mechanism to permit simultaneous adjustement of both the monitor and keyboard. There are 10 available height options all of which are locked upon the release of the adjustment lever (unlike some units which do not have a locking option and can then "drift" downwards when weight is placed on the keyboard tray). The VESA compatible monitor mount can be attached at 6 different height settings, with the distance between the keyboard tray and the middle of the monitor adjustable from a minimum of 6.5" to a maximum of 20".

The Taskmate Go supports up to 35 lbs of weight, and provides a full 17.5" range of vertical movement, meaning the keyboard tray can be positioned from 4" below to 13.5" above the desk surface. The upper platform worksurface is 19.0" x 9.0". There are two keyboard tray options. The Large Tray is a one-piece tray which is 30" x 12". For those wanting a smaller tray with a separate mousing area, the Swing-Out Tray has a 19" x 7.5" area for the keyboard with a separate swing-out mousing area which positions closer to the body and can be reversed for right or left-handed use. An optional (but not recommended) wrist rest is included with the Swing-Out Tray. Either keyboard tray model can be adjusted to a negative tilt of 5 or 10 degrees. The unit ships largely preassembled (apart from the tray) which minimizes setup time.

The Taskmate Journey from HealthPostures allows one to create a sit to stand workstation on any standard desk. The unit does not need to be affixed to the worksurface, as its rugged construction and weight (50 lbs) is sufficient to provide stability through its full range of movement. The height is adjusted by a simple two way rocking button which effortlessly uses an electric motor to raise and lower the monitor and keyboard simultaneously. The keyboard arm mechanism provides an additional 6" of height adjustment of the keyboard tray.

The Taskmate is relatively compact, with the base requiring only a 14" wide by 21"deep area on the worksurface. The keyboard tray can be cantilevered to 5" below the desk to 13" above the desk. Non slip pads for the base and Velcro are included to attach the LCD or CRT monitor to the top of the unit for added stability. The top platform for the monitor is 11.5" wide x 14" deep while the keyboard tray has an 18" x 9" area for the keyboard with a separate mousing area which extends closer to the torso and can be reversed for right or left handed use. An optional (not recommended) wrist rest is included with the tray.

These tabletops provide a standard L-Shaped work surface which easily blend into most office settings and provide individuals with a familiar, conventional desk with return. The main work surface is 78.75" / 63.75" (200 cm / 160 cm) wide x 31.5" (80 cm) deep. The return side depth is 47.25" (120 cm) with the extended part of the return 23.625" (60 cm) deep. These tabletops are easily integrated into a cubicle or office workstation. The corner is rounded for the comfort of the user.

These tabletops are available in a Beech Veneer (on 0.875" thick MDF), and are Triple Coated with UV hardened lacquer with profiled lacquered rounded edges. Returns on the left and the right are available. A single grommet hole at the back of the tabletop (in the corner) assists in cable management.

The Omega Everest Table Top, part of iMovr's ThermoDesk line, features an innovative keyboard tray built directly into the surface of the table top. The new "SteadyType" keyboard tray helps reduce wrist extension and monitor shake at standing and walking workstations, and helps users of treadmill desks counter the 'backwards-pulling' effect of the treadmill.

Users moving to standing workstations and walking workstations can sometimes find it difficult to position the keyboard at a steep enough negative incline. The result is wrist extension, i.e. an upward bend at the wrist that can increase the risk of injury to the hands, wrists and forearms. The integrated, inset design of the "SteadyType" keyboard tray allows users to position the keyboard at steep negative inclines, from 0° to -85°.

Another issue for walking workstation users is the tendency to anchor the heels of the hands to the desk in an effort to keep their hands correctly positioned over the keyboard. This results in a constant, and significant strain on the muscles of the arms, shoulders and upper body. The greater degree of negative tilt offered by the "SteadyType" keyboard tray helps users more easily counter the backwards pulling effect of the treadmill. With the keyboard tray inclined at a steeper negative incline the backwards pull of the treadmill now works in the user's favour to hold the user's hands in position against the keyboard.

Both of the above issues are addressed by the SteadyType Keyboard Tray. The improved hand and wrist positioning enables users to maintain good walking posture while letting the muscles of the hands, forearms and upper body relax. This more natural posture will result in improved typing performance over standard 'flat-topped' walking workstations.

By integrating the "SteadyType" keyboard tray into the body of the table top and moving it closer to the centre of the desk top, iMovr has succeeded in significantly reducing the phenomenon known to users of height adjustable workstations as 'monitor shake'.

On the Omega Everest table top, the mouse sits on the primary desk surface but remains easily accessible within the Comfort Zone due to the unique positioning of the keyboard 'in' the desktop. The "SteadyType" keyboard tray has two height settings that enable the user to select the most beneficial positions for the keyboard and mouse relative to each other.

The 1 1/8" thick Omega Everest ThermoDesk Table Tops feature softly rounded edges and corners, vacuum-wrapped at high heat. The 3D Lamination process creates a seamless surface and the grommet hole interiors are perfectly covered and sealed. The worksurface has no sharp edges or square corners and is completely non-porous, helping to protect it from humidity and spilled liquids. The Omega Everest tops are pre-drilled to fit the iMovR Elite electric height-adjustable desk frame and are fitted with threaded metal inserts to ensure quick and measure-free installation with a single Phillips screwdriver. The metal inserts ensure a well-secured top as well as the ability to remove and replace tops without wear on the mounting points.

Note: Omega Everest tops may be installed on other sit-stand desk frames; however, the threaded inserts might not be useable. It will also be necessary to ensure that these frames do not interfere with the incline and height adjustment of the integrated SteadyType keyboard tray.

The Altissimo Sit-Stand Workstation from KV Waterloo is an all-in-one solution for converting a sitting desk into a sit-to-stand desk. Mounted at the back, side or corner of the desk, this space-saving workstation effortlessly moves up or down using a gas spring mechanism and is easily stored when not in use. The Single Workstation (6011 Series) accommodates monitors from 5 to 20 lbs, while the Dual Workstation (6021 Series) handles monitors up to 8 lbs each and 24” wide (diagonally).

The height range of the Altissimo is an impressive 22” with the keyboard tray ranging from 5” below desk height to 17” above the desk.
