The DE100 Corner Sleeve from Humanscale can be used to create a usable workspace out of a tightly curved or inside right angled corner. The steel plate creates a diagonal bridge (20.375" wide) between the adjacent supporting surfaces, enabling onr to fully utilize the entire workstation. The worker is now given access to an expanded work area (right, left and corner), enhancing the ergonomics of the workspace.

The shape and dimensions of the DE100 Corner Sleeve make it suitable for desk top keyboard and mouse use. With an upper surface width of 29.5" and a depth of over 12.25" the DE100 Corner Sleeve is compatible with most common keyboard and mouse combinations. It is also equally suited to keyboard arm and tray deployment as the underside of the unit is pre-drilled to accommodate most common keyboard arms with no additional modifications required. The Keyboard Tray Corner Sleeve can be easily adjusted to fit desks from 1" to 1.5" thick.

Note: If the bridging width of the DE100 Corner Sleeve is too great a smaller alternative solution should be considered.

The M8 Monitor Arm from Humanscale accommodates a wide range of monitors available today - any monitor up to 42 pounds. It is the ideal solution for heavy monitor applications or any other environment with a flat panel monitor.

The 5G Articulating Keyboard Arm Mechanism from Humanscale is the heavier duty precursor to the current 6G Arm. It provides a reasonable amount of height adjustability from 5.00" below to 1.25" above the mounting point. The 0° to 15° dial-a-tilt feature allows the user to set the tray at any desired negative inclination in that range. It includes a 22" or 27" steel track with plastic glides (not ball-bearings) for storage when the tray is not in use.

Note: The 5G Keyboard Arm Mechanism can only accept Humanscale Keyboard trays. If you are unsure of what type of keyboard tray you already have or are willing to consider alternative ball-bearing arms with longer durability and superior range consider the Ovation Low Profile Leverless Arm.

Humanscale Tray Mounting Pattern

This 17" Clarice Filter from Humanscale Helps protect fragile LCD screens from scratches, fingerprints and damage. The high quality coated tempered glass provides improved colour representation and readability. The frameless design permits it to rest directly up against the monitor screen. Top supports are adjustable to accommodate varying depths of monitor. This is a 4:3 aspect ratio filter and measures 14.5" W x 12.75" H.

With a total width of just 19" but a depth of over 12.5", the Diagonal Keyboard Tray from Humanscale is designed to fit in angled corners that are tighter than average. The 15.5" long rear edge angles outward at 45º to get to the full 19" width. The rigid phenolic tray features foam rubber keyboard gripper strips to ensure the keyboard is securely positioned. The tray is also capable of accepting the optional palm support. This keyboard tray can be equipped with an optional swing-out mousing surface to accomodate a traditional mouse but is also deep enough for a central pointing device such as a RollerMouse or Mousetrapper.

The large dimensions of the DE400 Series Corner Sleeve make it quite suitable for desk top keyboard and mouse positioning. The uniquely-shaped "wings" provide convenient mousing areas for both right and left-handed users. With a depth of 13.75" the DE400 Series Corner Sleeve will accept any common combination of keyboard and mousing device. It is also equally suited to keyboard arm and tray deployment as the underside of the unit is pre-drilled to accommodate most common keyboard arms with no additional modifications required. The DE400 Series Corner Sleeve is available in two models — the DE400 can be easily adjusted to fit desks from 1" to 1.5" thick while thicker desks (1.5" - 2.5" thick) can be accommodated by employing the DE450 which is available by Special Order.

Note: While the DE400 Series Corner Sleeve provides a bridging width of 23.25" the overall width of 38.5" does require a fair amount of desk surface for installation. If there are space restrictions it may be necessary to consider a similar product with a smaller overall footprint.

The Copy Holder from Humanscale is a storable in-line document holder. The sturdy powder coated steel base provides storage for the copy holder as well as acting as a 1.75" monitor riser. At 10 lbs it is easily able to provide support for bulky documents or even smaller books. The copy holder itself is angle adjustable, can be lowered up to 3.5" below the work surface, and can be extended forward up to 9" from the storage base. Glide tracks enable easy storage of the document holder and the attached magnifying line guide while a simple latch release permits the document plate to be lowered.

Note: The SwitchMouse has been discontinued. The HandshoeMouse SHIFT is an alternative that provides orthopaedic ergonomic support while serving equally well for both right- and left-handed use.

The Switch Mouse integrates two major innovations - a V-shaped base, which puts the wrist and forearm into a slightly more natural pronation for left or right-handed users, and the Extender feature which allow the mouse to 'stretch' to provide some adjustment to the length (but not the width) of the mouse. Other features include a built-in palm support to prevent contact stress on the wrist, four-way scrolling dish, and programmable buttons (requires installation of PC drivers) for user-specified functions. This mouse has a 1600 DPI laser sensor and comes only in a corded model (cord is 2 m in length).
