A Kinesis Dual-Action Foot Switch is the most efficient way to take advantage of Kinesis' contoured keyboard foot input options. Use one or both feet. The large center pedal has minimal travel for your most heavily-used key action. The outer 'piano-key' pedals offer a second action without having to search for a second footswitch on the floor!

A footswitch is essential for number crunchers to get instant access to the embedded numeric keypad. Anyone who wants to offload work from their fingers will love this option!

Default actions are 'Shift Keypad on' and 'Shift'. Programmable contoured keyboards allow footswitch to perform any user-defined keystroke or macro.

The Dual Action Footswitch attaches easily with its telephone connector and included coupler to the keyboard cable extension. You can combine one with a Programmable Foot Switch for five foot-activated pedals!

Compatibility

Model 130 and more recent contoured keyboards (Essential, Classic, Professional) can use the Dual-Action Footswitch. Older Kinesis contoured keyboards can accept a dual foot switch, but only the large center pedal will be active (still a big improvement in comfort and ease of use over the single action footswitch!).

If two foot activated key actions are not enough, consider adding a second foot switch: the Kinesis Programmable Foot Switch (AC004PF). It looks the same on the outside as the Dual Action Foot Switch, but connects between your computer's keyboard port and your regular (actually, ANY) keyboard. Plus it supports three separate actions (each side pedal can be programmed separately).
