The Freestyle Separated Keyboard (Freestyle Solo) comes with optional accessories to enhance its ergonomic value. These accessories include:
- The Freestyle VIP Accessory (V-Lifters with Integrated Palm Supports)
- The Freestyle Incline Accessory
The Freestyle VIP Accessory
The Freestyle VIP accessory is the ideal replacement for other adjustable and tented keyboards such as the Kinesis Maxim Adjustable Keyboard and the Goldtouch Adjustable Keyboard. The VIP accessory offers:

Left and Right V-Lifters that are easily attached to the bottom of the Solo allowing the user to quickly alternate the slope of the keyboard from 10° to 15° whenever desired.

Left and Right Integrated Padded Palm supports that simply attach to the front of the Solo, and are included to keep wrists in a neutral position while typing at either tenting slope.

Optional usage, with or without the pivot/tether. The pivot tether connects the two keying modules of the Solo keyboard together. Disconnect the pivot tether if greater separation is required.

A highly stable typing platform with no 'bounce'.
The Freestyle Incline Accessory
The Freestyle Incline accessory is the ideal replacement for fixed split and tented keyboards such as the Microsoft Natural. The Incline accessory offers:

10° fixed tenting of both keyboard modules.

Adjustable splay (up to 30°) of both keyboard modules.

Padded palm supports for added comfort.

Keyboard modules that may be unmounted from the base without tools for individuals that require greater separation but no tenting.

Reduction of Excessive Pronation of the Wrist and Forearm (VIP and Incline Accessories)

The two angled tenting achieved by the VIP accessory (and the 10° of the Incline) will help relieve excessive pronation or twisting of the wrists and forearms by allowing your hands to tilt towards a more neutral or natural position (ideally the vertical position sometimes called the 'handshake' position). The 10° and 15° tenting is enough to provide relief without forcing the user to become a 'touch typist' (someone who no longer needs to see the keys being typed).

Reduction of Excessive Extension of the Wrist (VIP and Incline Accessories)

The padded palm supports of both the VIP and Incline accessories will help to reduce the excessive extension of the wrists by providing a resting place for your palms. This is especially important with tenting mechanisms, since the palm will normally be raised far above the level of the desk on which the keyboard is placed.

Two Angle Tenting

Each half of the Freestyle Solo accepts an attachable tenting accessory that can be set at 10° or 15°, depending on the angle desired. The tenting mechanism rotates to produce these two settings: rotate away from edge for 10°, rotate towards edge for 15°. Both settings provide a stable base that will not shift or slide the keyboard.

Infinite Splaying

Since the VIP accessory attaches to each separate half of the keyboard, one can splay the two halves at whatever angle one chooses. In fact, the 6" cable connecting the two halves of the keyboard allows one to position those halves wherever one wishes, and the VIP accessory will not limit your choices. Even with the pivot tether joining the two halves, the VIP accessory can still be used, effectively recreating other adjustable/separated keyboards like the Maxim or Goldtouch keyboards. Thus the VIP accessory is the most versatile accessory that can be used with the Freestyle Solo.

Removable padded palm supports easily attach to the Freestyle Solo and provide the necessary platform for your wrists so that they are not forced to extend themselves in order to allow the fingers to reach the keys on the tented keyboard halves.

The Freestyle Solo can rest on the Incline accessory when the two halves have been joined by the pivot tether at the fixed angle of 10°. The base is stable and secure.

Adjustable Splaying

The base of the Incline accessory allows an adjustable splay of both keyboard halves up to 30°, with markings built into the base in 10° increments. The Freestyle Solo can then be locked at these fixed angles.
