Datadesk’s new ergonomic keyboard, SmartBoard has been carefully engineered to encourage typing in the most natural and neutral position. It incorporates the patented SmartKey™ layout specially designed to help alleviate both wrist and finger stress problems.

While other ergonomic keyboards address problems associated with the wrist, they ignore the associated finger problems which can be a major contributor to typing discomfort and repetitive stress injuries. SmartBoard is not only split for the alignment of the wrists with the forearms (ulnar deviation), but its SmartKey layout aligns the columns of keys so they match the natural 'fanning' of your fingers.

Additionally, it has the error-free touch that only comes from Datadesk’s famous tactile-response key switches. Best of all, the SmartBoard still retains the standard 'QWERTY' layout, so no retraining is required. With SmartBoard, beginning typists can learn quicker and intermediate and experts can type faster with fewer mistakes than ever before!

Small Footprint / Space Saving Design

Most conventional and split keyboards are at least 21" in width. The Datadesk SmartBoard is 20% smaller than many keyboards, with a width of 18". This places it in a class closer in size to many of the adjustable keyboards. This means you’ll save valuable desktop space and it will fit any keyboard drawer.

Larger Keys for Outside Letters - The SmartKey™ layout has larger keytops for hard-to-reach letters (like "Q", "W", "O" and "P"). Larger sizing makes these letters easier to find and type.
