Posturite Board Writing Platform / Document Holder

The Posturite Board Writing Platform and Document Holder is a magnetic desktop easel designed for anyone whose job involves handwriting, research, drawing or drafting. The unit can be inclined vertically from 18° to 35°, facilitating a healthy alignment of the spine whether reading, writing, drawing, or simply making notations.

The easel comes in two sizes, Large and Mini. The Large model has a generous work surface measuring 22.7" by 16" (57 cm by 40 cm). The smaller model offers a more compact area measuring 15" by 15.75" (38 cm by 40 cm). Both models come with a magnet to secure loose or stapled reference materials, and both are overlaid with two sheets of blotting paper, creating a smooth and comfortable working surface.

The Posturite Board can also accommodate books and other bound materials with the addition of the optional Book Ledger Accessory, or Dual Purpose Book Holder Accessory.

The Posturite Board is solidly constructed to ensure a rigid worksurface, and finished with textured vinyl and gold trim. Rubber feet ensure slip-free stability on any table or desk top.

• As with all workstations, the relative heights of your desk, chair and the writing surface matter. Be sure your chair is high enough so that, as you are working, your elbow remains comfortably close to your side and aligned below your shoulder. Be aware of any upward pressure at your shoulder as you work and either increase the height of your chair or lower the platform to relieve the compression and allow your shoulder muscles to relax.
• Position the Posturite Board close to the front edge of your desk or table so that you do not have to overextend the muscles of your shoulder or put strain on your lower back. Aim for a balanced, upright posture (as shown above) with your spine in alignment. Make sure that, to reach the platform, you do not have to extend your upper arm forward from your shoulder, or lean forward at your hips.
