LEVO G2 Table Clamp Tablet Stand

The LEVO G2 Table Clamp Tablet Stand stand accommodates device use at a desk or table, while relaxing in a recliner or lying in bed, or in any other location where it can be secured using the innovative surface clamp system. With the device safely secured in the locking-ratchet Tablet Cradle it can be almost effortlessly positioned at the most comfortable and ergonomic position. This will help to alleviate the stress of arched necks, fatigued hands, and pain in the back and shoulders that can arise from maintaining an awkward posture while holding and using a device. The tablet holder is easily clamped to desk or table edges with an overhang of at least 1.6" and the included V-clamp accessory can secure the stand on table corners with a little as 0.25" of overhang. With the proven LEVO G2 design, this sturdily-constructed stand has a 5-axis articulating arm for easy positioning and optimal movement in any direction. The articulation points also feature tension adjustments to ensure sufficient resistance to unintentional movement. And for those who also enjoy traditional printed books or magazines the optional Book Platform Kit (see accessory Model #33701) can be interchanged in just a few seconds.

The Tablet Cradle can accommodate devices up to 13.5" x 9.25", and both the cradle and the optional Book Platform Kit can accommodate weights up to 4 pounds. Height range of movement is between 8" and 20" (measured from top of mounting surface to center of the device).

The LEVO G2 Deluxe Table Clamp Stand works well for those reading at a desk, referencing documents at their computer, or reading in bed. If the intent is to move it between multiple locations on a regular basis, or for applications that may also require a greater range of height adjustment, the more versatile rolling LEVO G2 Deluxe Tablet Stand may be a more suitable choice.
Note: The LEVO G2 Table Clamp Tablet Stand should not be clamped to glass top tables. Wooden table tops should be a minimum of 0.625" (1.6 cm) in thickness and must be sturdy enough to support the load.

• Note: The LEVO G2 Table Clamp Tablet Stand should not be clamped to glass top tables. Wooden table tops should be a minimum of 0.625" (1.6 cm) in thickness and must be sturdy enough to support the load.
• Mounting and dismounting your tablet is virtually effortless. In order to mount your tablet first ensure that the locking lever on the rear of the tablet clamp is in the "unlock" position. Slide the clamping bars open far enough to accommodate your tablet, then move the lever back to the "locked" position. You can now place your device on the clamp and ratchet the clamping bars closed. The ratchet mechanism will keep your device safely secured until you release the locking lever, at which point the ratchets will disengage and let you lift your tablet free of the clamp. To re-mount the device simply repeat the process.
• Since you want to be as relaxed as possible while reading, a pillow or neck support which lets you rest your head can be of great benefit. This gives the neck and shoulder muscles a break and can actually have a refreshing effect. As these muscles are usually occupied with supporting the head, especially when the neck is bent, this poor posture can put a constant heavy load on them.
• Ensure that your tablet is at a height suited to your viewing capabilities. If you have progressive or multifocal lenses you will want to position it lower than those who do not require this type of corrective lens. However, when doing so always ensure that your neck is at a neutral alignment, directly above the shoulders.
• When using your LEVO G2 Tablet Stand ensure that you position it to reduce or eliminate glare from lighting or windows.
• Monitor your usage as bedtime approaches. The "blue" light generally emitted from iPads, tablets, and eReaders (to a lesser extent) has been identified as having a negative impact on the production of melatonin, a hormone which induces sleep, and as a result can result in delays in falling asleep as well as lest restful sleep. It is recommended that in the later evening one should reduce their tablet screen brightness and/or their viewing time, or even eliminate it. That may be a period to switch to the optional Book Platform Kit accessory and do some non-electronic reading under a more subdued "warm" or "yellow" lighting.
• USE your LEVO - While it may be more convenient at times to just pick up your tablet or eReader, remember that what often starts out as a short session can easily turn into hours. Once you start you will probably be preoccupied with the reading or activity and won't think to place your tablet on the LEVO. As a result you would lose out on the benefits of your LEVO during that period.
