CleanType Easy Basic Keyboard

The CleanType Easy Basic Keyboard from GETT is a membrane-style keyboard designed for use in environments where the potential for exposure to dust, liquids, or contamination exists. With an IP68 rating this keyboard is dustproof and can be submersed up to 39" deep in water. This sealed design ensures reliability under demanding conditions that standard off-the-shelf keyboards cannot withstand. It also makes it a logical keyboard for installation in hygiene sensitive areas where regular cleaning is necessary.

The waterproof capabilities mean the CleanType Easy Basic Keyboard can easily be given a quick brush and wipedown using water or common cleaning solutions while still active by employing the "Keylock" function to block unintentional data entry. When more intense cleanings are required it can be unplugged and fully submersed in running water. The 15 cm quick-disconnect cable is easily detached from the included USB extension and has a silicone cover that seals the USB connector to protect it from damage. To serve in a wide variety of environments the CleanType Easy Basic Keyboard is available in both White and Black models.

• Washable: The CleanType Easy Basic Keyboard has an IP68 rating. This means that it is both dustproof and waterproof up to a 39 inch depth. The keyboard is easily wiped down or brushed clean while dry for quick cleaning or can be brushed under running water when a more intense cleaning is required. The keyboard has a short 15 cm quick disconnect cable equipped with a sealing silicone cover to protect the USB connector during wet cleaning.
• Lockout Function: In order to facilitate ease of cleaning (and inadvertent data entry) the CleanType Easy Basic Keyboard is equipped with a dedicated "Keylock" key that temporarily disables all keyboard function.
