Customer Service Specialist

Customer Service Specialist

ErgoCanada is a subsidiary of Micwil Group of Companies Ltd. and a recognized national distributor of quality ergonomic computer peripherals and accessories in Canada. We are seeking a professional, courteous candidate to join our team and work with clients from across Canada, initially as a customer service specialist. ErgoCanada is a young, entrepreneurial company that is growing rapidly due to the quality and diversity of our products and the customer-friendly spirit and effectiveness of our employees. We have a reputation for providing an uncommonly high level of customer service and effective ergonomic solutions for a variety of applications.

What We Give You: The reward of offering great products to appreciative customers, a friendly and healthy work environment, encouragement to think out of the box, latitude to try new ideas, trust and respect, minimal supervision, and the opportunity to grow and advance with the success of the company. Our customers phone us looking for solutions; we don't have to phone or 'sell' to them, we simply provide information and offer solutions.

What You Give Us: Self motivation and energy to spare, the desire to take ownership of projects and see them through to the end, the ability to quickly grasp and retain a wide array of product information, and meet goals and deadlines. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and will enjoy interacting with customers, prospects, and co-workers in a fair and forthright manner. He or she will be a team player who values relationships with customers, employees, peers, and the management team.

Responsibilities:

Your initial responsibilities during a training period include learning about our products and corresponding with both customers and prospects via phone and email, as well as learning to process orders. As time permits, you will follow up on new directions generated by company activities, provide support for marketing projects and participate in trade shows.

Market-specific qualifications:

You will have a general understanding of computers and common Windows-based software applications. The successful candidate is expected to become familiar with and test many of the products handled by ErgoCanada during the first few months on the job in order to provide effective customer service, support and sales. Some experience or knowledge in the computer hardware or occupational therapy / ergonomics industry would be an asset. Ability to speak in French is also an asset.

Salary is commensurate with experience and education. Benefits are based on Saskatchewan Labour Standards, with the option of a subsidized health plan. Paid vacation of three weeks per year is incorporated as part of the regular pay cheque at the prescribed rate. Micwil Group of Companies Ltd. is an equal opportunity employer. Please submit resume and salary expectations to hr@ergocanada.com. We wish to thank all candidates for their interest, however only those under consideration will be contacted.

Other desired qualifications
· Computer application knowledge (Word, Excel, Firefox, Thunderbird, Dreamweaver, Corel Draw, Paint Shop Pro)
· Experience in an inside sales support or marketing support position
