The Stance Move chair's unique design lets workers shift between multiple sitting positions throughout the day. Designed with Sit-Stand workstations in mind, it provides three distinct seating positions - Forward Sloped Sitting, Kneeling, and Assisted Standing. Each of these options moves workers away from the static closed-core position that traditional seating creates. The backless design encourages them to maintain an upright stance by actively supporting their pelvis in a forward tilt which improves back posture. This position encourages strengthening of core muscles as they are required to maintain torso balance at all three settings. By removing the seat back the risk of slouching or rounding of the lower back is significantly reduced, which in turn can reduce the risk and occurrence of lower back pain which is often related to traditional seating.

With a simple move of a lever the Stance Move converts into a kneeling stance, a well-known posture which positively encourages proper spine positioning by tilting the pelvis even further forward than the Forward Tilt mode. The Kneeling position has been used in many workplaces throughout the years. The thick kneeling cushions support the knees and spread pressure to enable workers to comfortably maintain this position for extended periods.

For those who prefer a more upright position or who wish to fully vary their seating throughout the day, the Assisted Standing position is the third position offered. Those using Sit-Stand workstations have well have found that standing for extended periods can be exhausting. This is due to the standing position requiring that muscles to be held in constant tension in order to be able to maintain that static position. As these individuals have discovered, muscle fatigue can occur even in a standing position. As well, the lower legs and feet begin to tire over the course of the day, resulting in an overall loss of energy. This loss of energy will translate into a more "slumped" posture as the body tires. The slumped position then further accentuates the fatigue as it puts strain on muscles and tendons which are already tired from extended use. The Assisted Standing position is intended to address this as it takes a percentage of the weight load and transfers it to the chair rather than placing it directly over the feet and legs. The enables the muscles of the legs and lower back to relax, thereby reducing the fatigue related to continuous tension. The release of muscle tension in the lower legs will also permit better bloodflow in the legs, something which is a known concern related to extended static standing.

The Stance Move is designed for users up to 5'9". Taller individuals will benefit from the Stance Move EXT 5050 which comes with a seat extension.

The Salli MultiAdjuster features a lockable, adjustable version of Salli's patented split saddle seat design. This seat is designed to correctly position the user in such a way that their back is moved into an optimum upright posture. Weight is transferred onto the sitting bones and off of soft tissue, reducing uncomfortable pressure points. The MultiAdjuster feature permits width and splay adjustment of the independent halves and combines these features with a forward tilt option to further improve back posture for those desiring a greater forward tilt or who, in the course of their work, lean forward repeatedly or for extended periods. The infinitely variable forward tilt lowers the front of the saddle and reduces pressure in the lower pelvic region. The MultiAdjuster's design encourages an upright stance and open core which facilitates upper-body movement and can provide many of the benefits currently being attributed to Standing Workstations without the necessity of being on one's feet throughout the day.

Note: If the concept of width and splay adjustment has appeal but static sitting is not desired the SwingFit might be the solution as it features the same width/splay adjustment but combines it with a unique rocking mechanism which permits free seat movement in all directions.

Height adjustment of the gas spring lift is accomplished through a standard hand-controlled height adjustment lever. Available lift sizes and the corresponding heights they accommodate are as follows: Short (4'0" to 5'2"), Mid (5'1" to 6'1") and Tall (5'8" to 6'5"). The 5-point star base and lift are in an attractive chrome finish. The total weight of the chair is 11.1 kg (24.4 lb).The MultiAdjuster is only available by Special Order and can be purchased upholstered in either genuine leather or polyurethane faux leather, each available in a range of colours.

The HNDSFREE Saddle Seats from ErgoVerse are ideal for use where seat height adjustments may need to be made while the hands are otherwise engaged. The Foot Release Plate enables quick, easy, hands-free adjustment of the seat height from any point around the chair. Additionally, the straddle position ensures that the feet are well-planted for exceptional stability and upper body control, providing superior upper torso mobility and range of motion. The full 360° of free rotation facilitates easy alignment to patients and equipment or to reach other work areas as needed. The seat can be tilted forward up to 15°, and the gas lift cylinder allows the height of the seat to be adjusted from 24.8" to 30.3", making both models suitable for individuals ranging in heights from 5'7" to 6'2".

Equipped with special braking castors, HNDSFREE Saddle Seats also roll freely when occupied but stop moving as soon as weight is removed. This innovative feature enhances the overall safety of the work environment, and helps maintain focus on the task at hand.

Both models of the HNDSFREE Saddle Seat feature easily cleaned Black Imitation Leather upholstery and a chromium-plated steel base for durability.

Model HSS-B-11209 offers all of the above features, with the addition of a padded, height and angle adjustable back support. The support is 8.5" wide by 10.5" high with a shallow curvature making it suitable for all body types.

The two HNDSFREE Saddle Seat models offer different styles of saddle. The saddle on the standard non-backrest model is a more traditional saddle shape, deeply dished and with overall larger dimensions, especially in the depth. This makes it better suited to those with larger builds. The back rest model has a saddle that is shallower in depth (front to back) and also flatter, making it more suitable to average or smaller individuals or where a more traditional stool height may occasionally be required.

Note: Sitting on a Saddle Seat creates a seating elevation higher than a standard chair. Saddle stools are therefore not generally recommended for use at a fixed-height office desk. The Jumper Balance with Lumbar Support from Score is a seating solution for those concerned about ergonomics and wanting to move away from static seating. The Jumper Balance combines the posture-correcting benefits of a saddle seat with the "Balance" mechanism that permits the seat to continuously shift and adjust in response to body movement throughout the day. The addition of a firm lumbar support increases the comfort, providing consistent support regardless of the position adopted.

The Balance mechanism is located directly below the seat, letting the seat move and shift with any body movement. In order to accommodate diverse requirements the degree of resistance on the movement is easily adjusted with a few turns of the ring located just below the seat. This ring also doubles as a height adjustment release meaning that there is no need to reach and find a lever in only one location when height adjustment is required, as the ring is accessible at any position.

The broad saddle of the Jumper Balance is suited to those of larger build or wide hips. Those with smaller build may be interested in the Amazone Balance. The pommel does have a noticeable rise which some might find uncomfortable. The posture created by the Jumper Balance means that most individuals will find the majority of their weight supported by the chair with the balance shared between the feet. The Lumbar Support is adjustable in depth and follows the movement of the saddle, providing support at all times and positions.

The Salli Chin is a more economical model of the premium Salli Twin model, and provides all the orthopedic support and benefits that come from the patented split saddle seat design. The Chin differs in that it has a lighter seat frame, standard (as compared to premium) components, and only one colour option.

The split saddle seat design maintains the natural shape of the spine, strongly influencing the user to have good posture while sitting and working. The gap allows the tailbone to 'float', minimizing soft tissue pressures and spinal loads. The width of the two halves of the saddle seat are fixed and cannot adjust but the design accommodates most individuals body types.

The STEYBIL Leaning Stool from ErgoVerse permits individuals to sit or lean while working, thereby reducing the weight load on the joints of both the legs and feet. This upright position also makes it easy to return to a fully standing position with minimal effort. The STEYBIL seat offers an infinitely adjustable height range from 24" to 34" and a forward-tilt that locks in at any point between 5° and 20°. For those whose work may require a degree of turning or who must get on and off the seat on a regular basis, the seat also provides a full 70° of swivel range (35° to either side) with an automatic return to centre.

The STEYBIL is now available with several seat options. One model features a formed polyurethane seat that provides a firm yet cushioned seating surface with cooling airflow channels. This model is well-suited to environments where rough use may be encountered as the seat is highly resistant to cuts or punctures and can also be easily cleaned. Three other models all feature a softer polyurethane foam base covered with easily cleanable leatherette. The EQUSIT Saddle Drafting Chair from ErgoVerse features a heavily padded, tilting, bicycle-style seat mounted to an elevated heavy duty steel frame. A gas spring provides a cushioned seat height range from 27.75" to 36.6", sufficient to provide a suitable seating height for most individuals working at elevated workstations. The wide back features 2" thick cushioning and has independent height and angle adjustments to optimize the comfort and ergonomic positioning.

Two footrest options are available. Model ESDC-83015 features a large 22.8" diameter heavy steel footring that includes a convenient height-adjustable (minimum of 9" above the floor) 360° fixed footrest. Model ESDC-F-83016 features a folding height-adjustable (also to a minimum height of 9") 120° footrest with angle adjustment. For safety, the steel footplate has an aggressively treaded surface. Both styles of footrest can be secured at greater elevations if necessary.

Both models also have oversized 27" diameter Chromed Steel bases equipped with glides. The large base and glides ensure stability when mounting and dismounting from the saddle. If desired, the base on Model ESDC-F-83016 can be folded flat for storage.
